Gideon Math and Reading Center: Taking Learning and Design to the Next Level

Gideon Math and Reading Center is a rapidly growing franchise with a home base in Temple, TX. Each Gideon center offers affordable tutoring and educational programs for kids to help them boost confidence, stay on track, and accelerate their learning. With over 30 locations and more on the way, the Gideon team wanted to bring bold wall murals into each new center. And, they needed a partner who could design, print, and install them as quickly as each location opened.

From Bland to Bold: Murals Make New Gideon Centers Inspiring and Professional

Before the partnership with SpeedPro Addison, each new Gideon franchise was on its own to bring color into the space. They could hang frames or incorporate quotes, but ultimately, the artwork was lacking. It was inconsistent, dated, and boring. 

When Gideon CEO Stephanie Coppedge spoke to SpeedPro Addison owner Matt Polster about the franchise’s recent growth, they came up with a vision that would pack more punch.

“He helped me see how we could take our design to the next level,” Stephanie shared. They decided to start with Gideon’s corporate office, where they installed 10 new wall murals. The result, according to Stephanie, was awesome.

“It was just bland before,” she laughed. After the corporate office glow-up, SpeedPro Addison became the vendor for each new Gideon location. 

“We obviously work with kids. We wanted it to be more playful, more fun, and more inspiring,” Stephanie shared. “One of my favorites is the one we call the brand wall. When you first walk in, it’s the first wall you see. Before, it was just a basic sign. Now, it’s much more animated with a huge punch of color.”

Ultimately, it’s about more than color. The new murals reflect a level of professionalism that validates Gideon’s growth and success. The new uniform look isn’t just fun for students; it shows that at each Gideon Math and Reading Center, clients will receive quality, consistent instruction that works. 

Installing at Scale: Creating a System that Automates Each New Franchise

As powerful as the murals themselves is the seamless process that gets them up on the walls. Gideon Centers are opening at a rapid pace, and the artwork needs to meet the timeline for each new location. 

“All I have to do is call SpeedPro and tell them we have a new location,” Stephanie shared. The team takes it from there.” 

With a turnaround of just two to four weeks, the SpeedPro team visits the location to conduct a site survey and create an estimate. Once approved, the murals can be mocked up, proofed, produced, shipped, and installed. 

Beyond murals, SpeedPro Addison also produces window vinyls and door signage. The process works. So far, Speed has helped launch new franchises in Coppell, West Plano, Richmond, Katy, Leesburg, Keller, and Cedar Park. 

“It’s a great experience. They’re very professional and are great communicators. Everything from the mock-ups to the install is just a really smooth experience, without hiccups or delays,” Stephanie shared.

Gideon + SpeedPro Addison = An A+ Match

With plans for opening eight new locations a year, there’s no plan to slow down production in the near future. Gideon and SpeedPro Addison are currently working on the next new franchise in Cypress. 

“I have loved working with Matt and had fun getting to know everyone on the team,” Stephanie shared. “They just do a really good job.” For Speedpro Addison, the feeling is mutual. In 2026, they’re gearing up to open more locations, dazzle with brighter colors, and climb to new heights.
