Boat Wrap Lettering Requirements

Before wrapping your boat or applying decals and lettering, spend time to look over the USCG lettering requirements. Keeping those requirements in mind when designing the wrap will save you time and money later on.

Design of Boat Wraps and Decals

Wrapping a boat is no small decision, it’s important to consider all of your options. We find that it’s common to name boats after loved ones or landmarks. First, consider what type of wrap you would want. At SpeedPro Boca Raton, we can offer the following:

  • Boat Lettering: Simple lettering can be useful when adding on identification decals such as boat name, city/state, etc. It’s quick, affordable, and will get you out on the water.
  • Perforated Film: A needed option if you’re going to wrap over windows. Perforated film will allow you to still see out through the windows while allowing a visually stunning graphic on the outside. The fade-resistant inks will also help extend the life of the wrap, especially since it’ll be soaking up the sun whether it’s in the marina or out at sea.
  • Vinyl Decals: They’re great when needing a slightly more detailed name on your boat or when adding unique decals that don’t cover the entire boat. Sometimes your boat just needs an extra splash of color to make it stand out.

Make your boat shine in the marina and out at sea with a custom boat wrap. If you can imagine it, we’ll find a way to print it.
