Getting Involved
FEBRUARY 17, 2017| SpeedPro East BayCategories
EntertainmentAt SpeedPro East Bay we’re determined to not only be actively engaged in our community but also to support and give back to those that support us as a new local business. However, anyone can say they give back to the community and are community oriented, but here is how we do it.
Community Return
One of these is our commitment to return 5% of our profits back to the communities where we do business. If our customers are so kindly shopping local, then we want to funnel that money right back into the community that they come from, not just our own.
Little League Teams
Another way that we give back is by supporting our local little league teams. During our grand opening, we made a friendly donation and also now whenever a little league team needs a banner, we are sure to give them a discounted rate. Ed, our owner has been an active member of the community since he has three kids of his own who have taken part in local sports teams.
Non-Profits
We also help non-profit groups and associations. If you are a non-profit business, we aim to give at least 20% off of the retail price.
Alameda Arts
We work with Alameda Arts by donating our unused recyclable materials to their after-school arts program. The kids involved in this program then take our extra materials and create works of art like in the picture on the right. We even opened up our studio to the public to showcase their work.
Chambers & Associations
Ed is a board member for the Greater Alameda Business Association (GABA) as well as an ambassador for the San Leandro Chamber and Nicole the Marketing Manager is an ambassador for the Alameda Chamber of Commerce. We are also members of the Downtown Alameda Business Association (DABA) and the Western Alameda Business Association (WABA). We truly strive to support our fellow local businesses and want to be able to help whenever we can, even with a simple sign.
We are driven by a belief in a strong community and it really reflects in our service and involvement. If you have any projects you would like to work SpeedPro East Bay on, please give us a call at (510) 246-8643 or click here.
