Boat Graphics

Summer is vastly approaching and that means the boats are coming out!  But before you take that bad boy out on the water, make sure your boat name and logo are up to par.

Since we’re located in Alameda by the Grand Marina, we have been getting a lot of inquiries about boat lettering and we are happy to help.  There are just a few steps to this process that most people don’t consider before committing, so here’s a little insight on what to expect:

First, you need a great boat name (you want to stand out don’t you?) and if you need help with design, that’s what our graphic designer is here for.  Light design is free but anything extensive such as the picture above, then there will be an additional fee.

Once you have approved all work it’s time to move to the printing process and there is a minimum standard price for this.  You can either provide the measurements for us or we are more than happy to come out and inspect it ourselves.  After we have printed this out it is time to install your new graphics and that is something you can try to do on your own (for the daring) or we are happy to install it for you for a small fee as well as remove any old graphics that were on there before.

Installation is probably the most important part of this process because we need a clean surface otherwise, the graphics won’t stick.  It must be free of residues, cracks, sanding dust, etc.  After all, you’re going to want these things to last awhile right?  You can prep the surface by simply using isopropyl alcohol and that ensures a clean slate.

Once installed you’re ready to hit the water and show off your new look that puts the other boats to shame!
