SUSTAINABILITY

You may not be aware that the printing industry is typically unfriendly to the environment. Use of PVC media and plastic substrates are the norm and common printing techniques involve solvents, consume huge amounts of energy and produce tons of waste that end up in landfills.

We are changing this. We have invested in state of the art printers that use environmentally friendly printing techniques and we offer numerous PVC free and recycled/recyclable choices. We are dedicated to lowering our own carbon footprint and making sustainable choices available to our customers.

RECYCLING

90% WASTE REDUCTION

We have partnered with local recyclers to recycle over 90% of our waste. This includes plastic, paper, cardboard, vinyl and other associated print media.

CUSTOMER RECYCLING PROGRAM

When no longer needed or your graphics are ready for an update, we invite you to return them to us for free recycling. We will make sure your signs, banners and displays never end up in a landfill.

GREEN PRINTING

LED CURED PRINTERS

While UV cured printers are commonly viewed as a greener option, we have invested in newer, LED technology. Compared to mercury lamp curing (UV light), LEDs provide an 82% reduction in energy usage, contain no hazardous chemicals and last years. They also result in lower heat during printing, which eliminates potential fumes. It’s better for our employees, our customer, and the environment.

LATEX INKS

Our latex inks are 70% water, odorless and produce no hazardous waste or VOCs (volatile organic compounds). They are UL ECOLOGO and UL GREENGUARD GOLD certified, and meet AgBB criteria.

BETTER MEDIA CHOICES

Making wise choices with print technology has to be coupled with progressive media choices. We offer non-PVC films and wraps, post-consumer recycled substrates, and we fully recycle all substrates on which we print.
