What Is Backlit Fabric?

Backlit fabric graphics are created by the pairing of a dye sublimated fabric and a LED lit frame. The LEDs illuminate the art from behind and showcase the graphic on display. While the display lights last for thousands of hours, they still require less power to illuminate than fluorescent or neon tubes.

Backlit fabric light boxes, signs, art displays, banners, kiosks and more increasingly appeared in public over the past decade. These displays represent an environmentally friendly marketing choice when compared to older backlit signage.

Placing one of these displays in your showroom or trade show exhibit ensures the display will stand out in the crowd. It’s common sense that a bright light in a dim showroom draws the eye. Combine this quality with vibrant graphics and colors, and the display becomes a sure success. You can collapse most backlit displays, making them convenient to store until the next trade show.

The versatility of backlit displays cannot be overstated. The manufacturers designed LED frames to allow graphics to be as interchangeable as you need. Some graphic velcro onto a frame while others snap into the frame using silicone edges.

Storefronts, trade shows, in-store displays, backlit fabric displays fit almost anywhere. Once we install your wall graphic or you set up your standing display, you can easily see how much light and vitality a well-placed backlit sign or banner adds to nearly any location.
