Why Invest in a Trailer Wrap?

High Return on Investment

When it comes to returns on investment (ROI), out-of-home (OOH) advertising generates an average of $5.97 in product sales for every dollar spent. This makes sense for enclosed trailer wraps, since one wrap can generate between 30,000 – 80,000 impressions in a single day.

Say you put a full wrap on a 10′ enclosed trailer. Printing and installation would probably cost around $3,000. That one wrap will last you at least 4 years (though it’ll probably last longer). When you break that down into cost per day, you’d end up paying around $2.05 a day for 30k+ impressions.

Trailer wraps and graphics come in all shapes and sizes, so you can choose how much of an investment to make. For maximum impact, you can go with a full wrap and deck out your trailer from head to toe with an awesome design. If you’re looking for a more cost effective solution, consider a partial wrap or cut graphics. While on a smaller scale, partials and cut graphics still make an impact on passersby.

Constantly Build Brand Awareness

Whether you’re on-site or on the road, your custom trailer wrap acts as a mobile billboard, showcasing your brand, products/services and contact info to everyone who sees you. Trailer wraps generate many referrals when your clients’ neighbors see your branding as well as the great work you’re doing next door.

Driving your enclosed trailer between job sites also increases your brand awareness. As you know, the average trailer wrap will get a minimum of 30,000 impressions in a day. The more your wrapped trailer is seen around town, the more recognizable your brand will be as people come to need your products or services.

Well-Received by Viewers

According to the Outdoor Advertising Association of America (OAAA), people respond well to OOH ads (like trailer wraps) because they aren’t obtrusive to a person’s everyday life like some mediums are. For advertisers, they’re a great place to explore creative options and create an enjoyable experience for viewers. Your vinyl wrap can be designed with a wide range of colors and graphics to capture the spirit of your business and leave a lasting impression on everyone who sees it.

Understand Your Goals

First, we talk with you and gather information about your brand, you and your goals for the trailer wrap. We’ll ask questions about the size of your trailer, the type of wrap coverage you’re looking for and what design ideas you have. By gathering more information, we’re able to provide a more accurate estimate for the project. Some factors in estimating include the amount of vinyl needed for the project and whether you request design services.

Project Proofing & Estimating

Often before providing an estimate we request to take measurements of your trailer. While measurements are not necessary for a ballpark estimate, we’re able to give you a more accurate number if we’re able to take our own measurements. Taking these measurements will also help us better mock up your design since we don’t have pre-made enclosed trailer templates.

Once we have a template or idea of sizing, we mockup your design on our 2D template. If you request design work, we provide an estimate for any design version requested. The mockup process gives you an idea of what the finished product will look like, and this is the time to make any sizing or proofreading adjustments.

When you’re happy with the way your design looks on the template, we’ll give you a final proof and quote for your trailer wrap.

Production & Installation

After you give the green light, we begin production and schedule the installation. Installation of a full wrap on an enclosed trailer usually takes a full business day, so be prepared to be without the trailer for the day.

Once in the production phase, your artwork is converted into printable files and sent to the printer. After printing, we laminate. Our laminator uses pressure to bond the vinyl and laminate together, protecting the printed design. After lamination, your wrap moves either to the plotter to be custom cut or to the trim pile for finishing. Finishing includes removing the excess vinyl from your wrap and labeling each piece for installation.

When your install date comes, we hand the material to our installers and let them work their magic.

The Finished Product

The next time you walk into our office, your trailer will look totally different. We’ll help you get settled and hooked up to the trailer, and off you go to start raising brand awareness with your brand new trailer wrap.

Customer Service

Our goal is to help your brand stand out. Just think of us as an extension of your marketing team. We ask questions to make sure you receive the best solution to help you reach your marketing goals. Your satisfaction with your finished product means a great deal to us. One of our mottos is “measure twice, cut once,” so don’t be surprised if we ask to measure your trailer twice to make sure we have all measurements needed to ensure the best result.

Quality Materials

Our trailer wraps typically last 4-6 years, depending on care and protection from the elements. Since vertical surfaces don’t typically take the brunt of sunlight and weather, a trailer wrap typically lasts longer than the horizontal surfaces (hood and roof) of a vehicle wrap. Our inks are UV resistant, allowing your wrap to look fresh for years despite the South Carolina sun.

Turnkey Solutions

We are first and foremost large format printers, but we offer turnkey solutions for our clients. Installation is included in our quotes and design can be added if requested. We also offer wrap removal services if you’re planning on replacing the graphics. All our trailer wraps are custom printed and priced based on square footage. In other words, you’ll be priced the same for polka dots and a full landscape scene, as long as the size is the same. We can digitally print and custom cut any size you need, and no project is too big!
