If you’re looking for a marketing solution that is cost effective as well as brand efficient, consider vehicle decals or a partial. Vehicle decals, also known as spot graphics, are produced and installed in a way that accentuates the individuality of each letter and graphic. These decals are a cost effective solution to keeping a simple and minimalist look to your vehicle while still providing essential information to those around you.

Say you put your logo, contact info and list of services on your work truck. Print and installation would probably cost around $500, depending on how large you want the graphics. That one set of decals will last you at least 4 years (though it’ll probably last longer). When you break that down into cost per day, you’d end up paying around $0.35 a day for 30k+ impressions.

Custom vehicle decals are a one-time purchase and you get to reap the benefits for years to come. Print or media advertisements will come and go in a flash, but branded vehicle decals don’t have a set shelf life.

Constantly Build Brand Awareness

Whether you’re on-site or on the road, your graphics act as mobile billboards, showcasing your brand, products/services and contact info to everyone who sees your vehicle. Vehicle decals generate many referrals as drivers see your branding around town and become familiar with your brand name.

Even when your vehicle is parked in driveways, parking lots and work sites, your decals never stops marketing the business. As you know, the average vehicle graphics will get a minimum of 30,000 impressions in a day, parked or driving. Repetition is the key to remembering; the more people see your brand, the more likely they are to remember you in their time of need.

Well-Received by Viewers

Decals can reach a versatile, widespread audience and create potential customers wherever you go. According to the Outdoor Advertising Association of America (OAAA), people respond well to OOH ads (like vehicle graphics) because they aren’t obtrusive to a person’s everyday life like some mediums are. Cut decals are especially good when you’re looking for a simple but effective option for branding your vehicles. Your graphics can be designed with a wide range of colors and fonts to capture the spirit of your business and leave a lasting impression on everyone who sees you.

Understand Your Goals

First, we talk with you and gather information about your brand, you and your goals for the fleet graphics. We’ll ask questions about the year/make/model etc. of the first vehicle, the type of decal coverage you’re looking for and what information you want displayed. By gathering more information, we’re able to provide a more accurate estimate for the project. Some factors in estimating include the amount of vinyl needed for the project.

Project Proofing & Estimating

Often before providing an estimate we request to see photos or take measurements of your vehicle. While seeing the vehicle and taking measurements aren’t necessary for a ballpark estimate, we’re able to give you a more accurate number if we’re able to take a look at it. Taking measurements will help us better know how much vinyl we’ll be using, since our 2D templates don’t account for curves very well.

Once we have a template or idea of sizing, we mockup your design on our 2D template. If you request design work for a partial wrap, we provide an estimate for any design version requested. The mockup process gives you an idea of what the finished product will look like, and this is the time to make any sizing or proofreading adjustments. When you’re happy with the way your design looks on the template, we’ll give you a final proof and quote for your car decals.

Production & Installation

After you give the green light, we begin production and schedule the installation. Once in the production phase, the artwork from your proof is converted into printable files and sent to the printer. After printing, we laminate. Our laminator uses pressure to bond the vinyl and laminate together, protecting the printed design. After lamination, your graphics move to the plotter to be custom cut, then to the trim pile for finishing. Finishing includes removing the excess vinyl from around your custom cut decals.

When your install date comes, we hand the material to our installers and let them work their magic. Cut graphics and partials won’t take a full day of install, but if we have multiple installs in a day we may ask you to leave the vehicle until we can get to it. The longest you’d be without the vehicle is a single business day.

The Finished Product

The next time you walk into our office, your vehicle will look totally different. We’ll hand you the keys and off you go to start raising brand awareness with your brand new vehicle graphics.

Customer Service

Our goal is to help your brand stand out. Just think of us as an extension of your marketing team. We ask questions to make sure you receive the best solution to help you reach your marketing goals. Your satisfaction with the finished product means a great deal to us. One of our mottos is “measure twice, cut once,” so don’t be surprised if we ask you to bring your vehicle by to make sure we have all measurements needed to ensure the best result.

Quality Materials

Our vehicle graphics typically last 4-6 years on the vertical surfaces and 2-2.5 years on horizontal surfaces, depending on care and protection from the elements. Our inks are UV resistant as well, allowing your graphics to look fresh for years. We’ll also make note of which printer and colors we use for your first set of decals so that any following graphics are as close to the first as possible.

Turnkey Solutions

We are first and foremost large format printers, but we offer turnkey solutions for our clients. Installation is included in our quotes and design can be added if requested. We also offer decal removal services if you’re planning on replacing the graphics. All our vehicle graphics are custom printed and priced based on square footage. In other words, you’ll be priced the same for polka dots and a full landscape scene, as long as the size is the same. We can digitally print and custom cut any size you need, and no project is too big! If you’re hesitant to take the leap and decal all your vehicles, we’d love to start by wrapping one, then the next, and the next. No contract is necessary!
