Schools and Education

“We’ve got spirit, yes we do! We’ve got spirit, how ’bout you?” Most schools wear school spirit like a football player wears his gear: loud, proud and obvious. When prospective students and families come tour your campus, what do they see? Is your campus rigid, cold and unfriendly or inviting, exciting and full of school spirit?

One of the easiest ways to promote school spirit is to incorporate your values, branding and mascot throughout your campus. You can achieve this through storefront and monument signage, self-adhesive vinyl graphics, tradeshow items like table throws and retractable banners, or even banners and other hanging displays. The opportunities are truly endless.

Types of Large Format School Decals

Many schools already incorporate signage throughout the facility: bulletin boards, informative posters and charts, decorated classrooms, event banners, etc. However, most of these graphics are provided by the teachers themselves. What if you set aside part of your marketing budget and put it toward installing school spirit in your hallways and common areas?

Image the front entrance of your building decked out in window perf. The perf allows your office staff visibility to see out, but anyone outside will only see your school’s design of choice. Window perf offers schools the ability to brand boldly while also keeping the students inside safe. Window perf can also be used indoors to privitize classroom windows while using a branded design.

Other branded vinyl options include wall murals and floor graphics. Vinyl wall murals are custom to your goals and branding, so you can incorporate wall graphics in any way you see fit. Some schools use vinyl murals at their gym entrances to encourage school spirit for home game days while others may design the space to create an atmosphere that sets young preschoolers at ease.

In addition to self-adhesive vinyl, schools can incorporate trade show-type graphics like table throws, retractable banner stands, outdoor tents and feather flags. You can customize all these items and, best of all, take them to off-site events or set them up in different areas of your facility as needed.

Banners, one of the more popular school graphics, come in custom sizes, shapes and style. Some banners advertise upcoming events, new tuition rates, scholastic awards, school sponsors or championship years. Banner materials vary between uses – mesh material is used for outdoor purposes and scrim can go both indoors and outdoors. Most banners are finished with taped hems and grommets or sewn to slide over lamp post poles.
