Meet the Team

RANDALL HIGGINS

Owner/President

Randall joined the SpeedPro family after 30 years in leadership positions with Corning Glass Works and as an Army Officer. This background gives him his focus on service and commitment. His top priority for the business is to develop lasting relationships with his clients and help them grow their businesses through outstanding customer service.

After many years and millions of miles of “Road Warrior” traveling for business, Randall enjoys staying in St Louis and going to the studio each day; where he creates a fun and productive work environment for the team. Visiting customers throughout the metro area lets him learn more about St Louis’ neighborhoods and nuances, and there always seems to be something new to learn with each trip! In his spare time Randall enjoys spending time with his family, exploring St. Louis, playing golf, scuba diving, and reading.

Mike Kempf

Marketing Manager

Mike Kempf is a local St. Louisan through and through. A die hard Cardinals fan, and local karaoke junkie. He has a background in graphic design, printing, marketing and many years spent within the realm of retail.

On his days off, you will find him possibly at a local golf course, rehabbing a home, or djing a wedding. He is an Aristotle of sorts.

He has served on the Board of Directors for a local Chamber of Commerce, serves as an ambassador for his Neighborhood Association and is on an Advisory Panel for Local Business. Mike also serves as an Assistant Scoutmaster for his Son’s BSA Troop, and is a role model at Hancock Place Elementary and Middle schools for both his children.

We really do not know how his wife Virginia puts up with all his volunteering and extra-curricular activities. She must be a saint!

AMY HURD

Production Manager

Growing up on a farm in a small town in Southern Illinois, and being the daughter of two teachers, I couldn’t help but develop a lifelong love of learning new things. I first focused all of my education into becoming a teacher like my mom and dad, but soon realized that art was my true passion. After graduating high school, I attended Southern Illinois University, Carbondale where I earned a BFA in Cinema and Photography with a minor in journalism.

I moved to St. Louis in 1998 and worked for a couple of years doing portrait photography. Photography was enjoyable for me, and still is, but after meeting my husband, who is in the large format graphics industry, in 2000, I found that having a career in graphic design, large format printing, and vinyl graphics installation was a way to combine all of my artistic talents into one. From concept to finished product, I love taking an idea that someone has for a project and bringing it to life.
