3 Issues to Consider with Outdoor Canopy Tents

JUNE 26, 2016| SpeedPro of SF Peninsula

Summer is upon us, and outdoor display season has begun. That means street fairs, festivals, athletic events and farmers markets leading the way with canopy tents and displays galore. And of course with our wonderful local weather, we have clients that actually use canopy tents throughout the year here in Northern California.

You’ll be “Made in the Shade”

SpeedPro of SF Peninsula offers sturdy, beautifully printed portable canopy tents that provide shade as well as some valuable advertising space. They’re portable, and can be used almost anywhere, with the canopy surfaces providing a variety of places to print your logo, message or brand where it’s visible above the crowd.

Start by clarifying your needs

Here are three important questions to ask when considering a canopy tent:

  1. Size – 10’ x 10’ is a standard size and easiest to transport and set up/take down.  But we offer 10’ x 20’ models as well.
  2. Durability – You get what you pay for, and while there are some lightweight options out there in the market, poles can literally snap (or bend). Predictably, it will almost always happen at the wrong time.  Our canopies are heavier to move around (which is why we recommend the roller case or strong nylon bag), but they stand the test of time.
  3. Color and impact – Our top of the line tents are fully printed with dye sublimation printing, allowing graphics on multiple surfaces in full color – from photo imagery to graphics.  We also offer single color tents with one or two color imprinted graphics, but even some of our clients with simple logos go for the dye sub because of the durability and bright colors.

Custom Printed or Graphics on a Base Color

As mentioned above, SpeedPro’s canopy tents are available with either a solid color canopy top that comes in 5 colors, or the full custom printed version. The solid color tent, offers optional heat transfer vinyl imprinting in one or two colors to any area of the canopy. Full wall and half wall kits are also available to provide additional wind protection or physical barriers to direct customers toward the front of your display.

Each kit includes frame, canopy top, tension ropes, soil/sod stakes, and carry bag with wheels. Additionally, options include a hard shipping case and steel weighted base plates to secure the canopy on hard surfaces when soil stakes can’t be used.

Our clients have had us produce tents displays for a wide range of events. Outdoor events, art & wine festivals, tailgating and sports events, University and religious clubs and fraternal organizations…you name it, SpeedPro has made a tent for it.

Can’t decide where to start? Give us a call to learn more about our range of tents – from square with pointed roof to curvy designs sure to grab focus at your next event. Our friendly staff is knowledgeable and will help you through any questions you may have.
