How to Install a Custom Wall Covering
As part of our comprehensive design process, we also provide efficient and professional installation services, giving you the time to sit back, relax, and enjoy your new mural. With over a decade of experience and the right tools, our expert installers will:
- Clean and prepare the surface by wiping it down with a clean, dry cloth to remove dust, debris, and other buildups.
- Prepare the wall covering by placing it image-side down — if you’re installing a larger graphic with multiple panels, make sure to arrange each tile in their proper mounting order.
- Slowly remove the backing paper from the printed wall covering
- Apply the graphic to the wall and apply consistent pressure to ensure the adhesive is properly activated and has successfully bonded with the intended surface.
- Use a plastic squeegee to smooth out creases. Begin smoothing from the center of the graphic and slowly move outward to the edges.
- To help protect your wall covering from any future environmental damage, we suggest applying a sealant on top to ward off potential fading and cracking over time.
