Building Signage

You’re never fully dressed without a sign

Think about the last time you approached a brick and mortar store — chances are, the outdoor signage was the first item you noticed, whether it was bright and flashy with unique fonts, simply sophisticated or a bit drab and dingy. An outdoor sign is the first thing potential customers will look for when they’re discovering your business as well. SpeedPro specializes in advanced full-color printing, custom fonts and finishes and professional mounting and installation for a diverse selection of products that are tailored to your specific business, including:

  • Pan Channel:  This is the most common type of building signage because it’s so versatile.  It keeps the clean look of a contour cut sign while still lighting up the night. All pan channel signs are made up of 2 parts the fabricated metal cases the backlit plastic faces. They can be formed into just about any shape and are available in every color. However, they do have 1 drawback all lines must be 1 inch thick which makes it hard to replicate elegant or scripted fonts.
  • Halo Lit: Also known as reverse pan channel, these signs are often used for businesses looking for an option that’s more refined. They come with metal or matte faces and show a soft halo of light around your letters. They’re just as versatile as pan channel signs, but they do come with the same draw backs.
  • Light Boxes: These are the pan channel sign’s bulkier cousin. They feature 1 single box with a backlit plastic face. They are only available in squares or rectangles but they make up for their simple shape in detail. Because the graphics on a light box are made of printed or cut vinyl you can keep lines as small as 1/8 inch which makes them perfect for businesses who want to include thin scripts, complex patterns, or a wide variety of colors.
  • Contour Cut Acrylic or Metal:  Flat cut signage is a great economical option that’s easy to maintain. While they are unlit, they can be combined with another form of lit signage to get the best of both worlds. Acrylic and metal are available as thin as 1/8″ and as thick as 1″ and can be used to cut letters as small as 3 inches tall making it the perfect option for taglines or signage over doors.
