Monument Sign Inserts

What kind of insert should I choose

There are two basic styles of inserts a cabinet and dimensional letters. Cabinet signs have a bunch of rectangle inserts that slide into the sign like the drawers on a desk they use a combination of Lexan and metal to let the light through and show off your logo. Dimensional letters are made of contour cut acrylic or metal and are used for stand alone monument signs. They often have halo lighting or lights at the base of the sign to make the letters pop. The type of monument sign insert you buy is often determined by your landlord, but the options we offer include.

  • Lexan Face: In a lexan faced insert your logo is printed using translucent ink allowing the colors to show across the entire face.
  • Layered Cut Out:  Our layered inserts come in 2 parts the contour cut box and the lexan back. Like the Lexan faced insert you’re able to make your colors pop, but they’ll only show through the cut outs in the metal.
  • Metal Face:  While backlit is the norm, not all monument signs light up. Metal inserts are a great cost saving option. They’re printed with vibrant latex inks and laminated with a special UV protection layer.
  • Flat Cut Acrylic: These letters often run thinner in depth but they make up for it in fine detail. Acrylic letters can be cut as small as 3″ tall and have lines as small as 1/8 inch thick.
  • Halo Lit: Also known as reverse pan channel, these signs are often used for businesses looking for an option that’s more refined. They come with metal or matte faces and show a soft halo of light around your letters. They can be formed into just about any shape and are available in nearly every color. However, they do have 1 drawback all lines must be 1 inch thick which makes it hard to replicate elegant or scripted fonts.
Monument panel inserts can be switched out and let customers know what businesses operate in a plaza

See the Benefits

Don't lose out on perspective customers. See what monument signs can do for you.
  • Wayfinding:  A study by the University of Cincinnati found that 54% of American consumers failed to find businesses because of signage that was unclear or too small. Monument signs make sure customers can quickly spot where to turn in so they don't pass you by.
  • Professionalism: The small business world is one of high turnover, monument signs tell your customers, the city, companies like google that you've got it together and you're here to stay.
  • Visibility: In the 1930's marketers discovered that on average people have to see a brand at least 7 times before they made a purchase. Monument signs are an unobtrusive way to get in front of your customers so the next time they need a service you offer you're top of mind.
