Women Tech Founder Speaker

When Impact meets Inspiration

NOVEMBER 20, 2019| SpeedPro Chicago Loop

Every event and organization starts with its own unique set of needs, and as a second-year partner and proud sponsor for Women Tech Founders, SpeedPro Chicago Loop has seen their needs and their organization grow. If you aren’t familiar with WTF (and yes, those initials were quite intentional) then allow us to share what makes this tight-knit community of fearless disruptors so special.

Terri Brax, the founder of Women Tech Founders, was in a position many find themselves in when she was inspired to start this effort 5 years ago. She was fed up. Looking around, she had one thought on her mind, “WTF, why aren’t women tech companies getting more funding, opportunities, RESOURCES?”. Soon her WTF moment became ‘here’s what we are going to do next’ and she created the vision for what was to come. Since that moment Terri has created events and resources that support women in the tech world in a variety of different ways. From pitch training and competitions to full-day conferences, and even the Women Tech Founders Awards, she wasted no time finding ways to make sure she had an impact.

As her brand grew, her image needed to elevate. Worried she would make the wrong choice or investment, Terri reached out for help.  As partners, our team was able to find a solution that compliments her influence in the tech community with polished Surface Impact™.   We helped boost her event branding efforts in a way that wasn’t just exemplifying where she is now but will be a great investment for the next few years. Because large-scale events are the keystone offerings of her organization, Terri needed to give a visual backdrop to the inspirational stories and experiences that were being shared from her stages, but as a new nonprofit there simply wasn’t enough to go around. But if you have ever worked with our team you know…we were going to find a way.

For this project, Speedpro Chicago Loop loaned WTF a beautifully vibrant high-end structure for interim use until ready to invest in something all their own.  Women Tech Founders’ events now glow with not only the luminaries that are supporting the women’s tech world as they speak from the stage but with the kind of brand that makes them look as powerful and polished as they are.
