Code Talkers Building

We were given a wonderful opportunity to help rebrand the interior of the Diné Development Corporation’s Navajo Code Talker office.  Woodard Development reached out to SpeedPro Dayton with a project that contained very unique design elements and relatively short turn time.  This project included a full wall wrap with dimensional elements, a 30’ LED light wall, sliding acrylic panels, and museum displays.

This project challenged the team to think outside of the box and really put our skills to the test.  It took a lot of planning and input from our design team all the way down to production and installation.  After meeting the deadline and seeing the final product, we were beyond happy that we were able to collaborate all of our unique skill sets and bring this building to life.

A 30’ LED light wall greets you as you walk in the main entrance.  This wall took careful planning and was entirely produced in our studio.  The lights were created by routing 1” thick white acrylic and embedding LED lights inside.  This creates a unique consistent glow that shines throughout the entire piece.

The Shelving Display features Navajo artifacts from the code talkers that are prominently displayed on floating glass shelves and tells the story through acrylic displays. The display is made from ½” colored acrylic that slide on tracks.

The Code Talker Wall tells the story of the code talkers and spans across a 30’ x 10’ wall.  The wall features a fully printed vinyl background and PVC and Acrylic dimensional signage.
