Outdoor banners are most commonly made from high-quality vinyl, perforated vinyl mesh, scrim or canvas with a range of protective laminates available. Vinyl mesh is perforated, so it allows wind to pass through with ease and will not billow excessively in windy conditions. In addition to being wind-resistant, vinyl mesh is a very aesthetically pleasing material to place graphics upon and holds up against rain, snow and ice. Scrim banners can be either single- or double-sided and come in two different weights. Some of the differences include one-sided outdoor banners offer one high-impact cohesive message and feature full graphics printed on one side with a reverse image on the opposite side. Text and graphics are clearly visible on both sides. Two-sided outdoor banners offer 360-degree message visibility. With a two-sided banner, there is more room for text and graphics and the assurance that regardless of wind or weather flipping the banner around it remains legible.
Outdoor banners are available in a wide range of sizes, from 10 ft. wide and 10 ft. high down to 2 ft. wide and 2 ft. high. Outdoor banners can be hung from entryways or archways or attached directly to the outside of your storefront. Hanging banners extend out from the storefront, making them highly attractive and visible. Permanent storefront banners should feature your business name, slogan or logo to increase brand awareness.
