SpeedPro Adds New Agfa Anapurna H3200i LED PrinterJANUARY 10, 2019| SpeedPro Imaging of SF Peninsula
New for 2019: our 6-color +White hybrid UV LED-curable print system
We’re thrilled to announce a new addition to our array of production resources. Meet “Ana”, the nickname we’ve given our AGFA Anapurna H3200i. Ana is a state-of-the-art grand format hybrid, providing both “flatbed” capability for direct printing to rigid boards (such as PVC panels, foamcore, Gatorboard, metal, wood and acrylic) and also to roll-to-roll media (e.g., fabric, banner, pressure sensitive vinyl, wallpaper).
Our H3200i prints at a width up to 3.2 m and combines high quality with high productivity for outdoor and indoor wide-format jobs. The white ink function creates possibilities for printing on transparent material for backlit applications or for printing white as a spot color. Agfa’s proprietary UV LED ink dries immediately, providing a very wide color gamut and enabling printing on thermally sensitive materials due to the energy efficient, air-cooled UV LED lights. With six colors (C,M,Y,K, Lc, Lm plus 2 channels of White), our Agfa inks are eco-friendly and known for the adhesion, flexibility and scratch resistance.
This printer adds to SpeedPro’s array of latex and eco-solvent printers, replacing the previous UV flatbed. With the increased speed and capacity, SpeedPro Imaging of SF Peninsula can handle an even-larger workflow while maintaining our high standards for service and quality. The Anapurna H3200i can print banners up to 10ft high by 120ft wide or swiftly output panels for trade show exhibits with amazing resolution and fantastic speed.
The Anapurna printer line is manufactured by Agfa Graphics, a division of Agfa-Gevaert N.V., a Belgian-German multinational corporation that develops, manufactures, and distributes analog and digital imaging products. The history of Agfa dates back to the nineteenth century with a long tradition of innovation and technological leadership. Over 150 years ago, a Belgian ‘photo products’ business and a German color dye manufacturer joined forces to grow into an internationally renowned company in the graphic and healthcare industries. So we’re confident that they’ll be around for a while!
