With Back to School in full swing, let’s welcome students back year with something extra special. How about giving your campus a fresh new look for the new year with some custom graphics? After all, this past year has been anything but normal and we want our students to be excited and happy to be back at school. So, let’s kick off the new year with big, bold, graphics that inspire and excite them! Here are a few ideas to get the creative juices flowing…

Contour Cut Signage

One fun idea to spice up an otherwise boring classroom is with large, contour-cut motivational words or phrases. These bold signs add some extra pizzaz to walls or empty shelves; you can even hang them from the ceiling to create a floating illusion. Contour cut signs can be made using a variety of different materials, each with its own set of properties. Foam can be used as a less expensive, short-term option. If you’re looking for something that will last throughout the school year, di-bond metal is a great option!  Ultra board or Falcon board are both good options that will last somewhere in the middle range. Falcon board specifically is 100% recyclable and a great option if your school has gone green.

 

Rigid Posters

Rigid posters can be a great choice for displaying educational materials or listing friendly classroom safety reminders. Like contour cut signs, rigid posters can also be made using a variety of different materials. Choosing the right one can be a daunting task and depends on many factors- how long will the sign be displayed? Will it be displayed inside a classroom or outside in a hallway? Step and Repeat Backdrops

Another great option is a custom backdrop, inviting students to take selfies and socially distanced groupies! Backdrops are more fun than traditional banners because they invite fun and interaction- something we can all use a bit more of these days! You can print your school’s logo in the traditional step-and-repeat pattern (commonly seen on Hollywood red carpets and VIP events) or you can opt for something more whimsical like an illustrated forest background or a scene from an interstellar voyage. Whatever you decide on, make sure it’s bold and bright and won’t be missed by the incoming students passing by. Maybe even think about a fun hashtag to use when they share their pictures online.
