Tips For Post-Pandemic Trade Shows

FEBRUARY 1, 2021| SpeedPro of SF Peninsula

Everyone can agree that the last year and a half has not been great for organized trade shows. However, the good news is that with the economy slowly opening, trade shows may be in our not too distant future.  That being said, things won’t be the same as they were before the outbreak. Adjusting your plans safely face the post-pandemic trade show will be essential to keep attendees healthy and safe, while still providing an engaging experience for potential customers. Either way, the show will go on!

Below we’ve put together a few tips to keep in mind while planning your next trade show exhibit.

Tip #1

Utilize foam boards to direct the flow of traffic.

Foam boards are a great lightweight and inexpensive way to add additional branded material to your booth while simultaneously acting as wayfinding signage, keeping everyone safe. Foam boards can be customized to nearly any size or shape and printed single or double sided. While better suited for indoor use, they can also be used short term outside.

Tip #2

Use immersive vinyl wall decals to make an impression.

Contour cut vinyl can be easily customized to showcase your company’s logo and other imagery. Printed vinyl wall murals and decals can be created that match your brand colors, creating an immersive and seamless experience for visitors. The bigger, the better! Being bold in a trade show environment is what will set you apart from the competition! Showcase your brand and company values in a big way with a custom cut wall decal or mural.

Tip #3

Use custom fabric table cloths to extend your branding even further.

Fabric can be customized with your brand’s colors and logo too! How about using a custom table cloth at your booth? Nothing says professional like a customized table cloth! The great thing about fabric products is that they can be used over and over again, making them a staple in your trade show set-up.

Tip #4

Use table top displays.

Table top displays are an effective way to explain more about your products and services. You can also use them as way finding signs to direct the flow of people from one part of your exhibit to another. They are lightweight and require virtually no-setup- making them an easy choice for smaller trade show teams.

Tip #5

Use muti-purpose step and repeat banners.

Step and repeat banners are a versatile trade show product that can be used both as a social media photo op and a branding opportunity. People love to take selfies and where better to do it than in front of a backdrop displaying hundreds of your logos?  Another way to use step and repeat backdrop is as a place to publicly thank your sponsors or recognize important partnerships. Organize a joint booth with multiple companies and display everyone’s logos!

Tip #6

Do your research ahead of time and hire the best team to help bring your graphics to life!

When it comes to trade shows and trade show displays, you don’t want to invest in a product that or doesn’t last or exactly match your brands’ aesthetic.  If you have ideas but aren’t sure where to go next, let our designers help you bring your ideas to life!
