Giving Back For The Holidays

It’s the most wonderful time of the year and also the season of giving.  In honor of that and our mission to give back to our community as much as we can, SpeedPro East Bay is teaming up with Project Glimmer to help make a difference.

Project Glimmer is an organization that fosters support and encouragement to at-risk teens and women by giving meaningful gifts to give confidence and the knowledge that her community believes in her.  As a woman-owned business, it is our duty and pleasure to help out our fellow women in the community. 

There is no better time than now, without getting too political, to uplift and empower our women and show that we care.  Food drives and toy drives are very popular during the holidays and are amazing causes but we can’t forget about our women who just want to feel special.

There are many ways to get involved with Project Glimmer such as donating products, hosting your own glimmer drive where people can bring these items to donate, or simply raising awareness.  By sharing this article, you’re helping word get around and hopefully inspire more people to give back.

With that said, we are aiming to not only match the first $200 in donations that we raise, but we are also going to be volunteering our time to box these gifts for a day.  These items include jewelry, heat styling tools, gift cards, and makeup/ beauty products.
