Vehicle Wraps

You’ve invested hundreds maybe even a couple thousand dollars in your new vehicle or wall wrap, so you want to make sure that it lasts forever.  The only question is how do you maintain it?  Well, let’s take a look at a few of the best tips and tricks.

Car Wrap Care

Typically after installation, you want to wait at least one week before washing your newly wrapped vehicle.  When you do decide to wash it, be sure to hand wash using warm soapy water with a soft sponge and gentle brush to rinse.  Using a bristled brush risks wearing the material more quickly.  Also, avoid waxing and any other solvents.  These could damage the finish and fade the color.  The best way to make your car wrap last the longest is to keep it covered as much as possible by parking in a garage or shaded area.

Wall Vinyl & Wraps

Wall vinyl is going to be a similar treatment solution.  First, to get rid of any dust that may have collected on the wall use a dry duster or a vacuum.  If you choose to vacuum the wall, be sure to never run the vacuum against the wallpaper as it can damage the material.  Next, take a soft sponge and gently wipe away any dirt.  Starting from top to bottom will help with any dirt that may run down.  Keep in mind you do not want to use any bleaches or solvents that may damage the finish.
