The Best of 2017

The year is almost over and it’s time to round up some of our favorite projects of 2017 in each category.

Best Vehicle Wrap:

This vehicle wrap for 2017 made the best of for its design, clean finish, and customer satisfaction.  This big box truck was originally bright yellow but unless you’re looking at it from the inside, you wouldn’t be able to tell.  This client was so happy that we’re expected to complete one more full vehicle wrap and two other vehicles with vinyl lettering.  These Big Blue Plumbing trucks will definitely make an impression around Alameda.

Best Wall Mural:

This was a tough decision as we had so many great wall murals completed in 2017 so instead, we’re narrowing it down to three.  The first is ConnectedYard who found us through Yelp and within an hour we had given them a quote and started working with them on making this come to life.  The bottom left is a mural with images taken from all of San Francisco’s beautiful monuments turned into a collage masterpiece.  Finally, the bottom right image was supplied by photographer Mark Lily.  This Oakland skyline view is a great addition to any office.

Best Window Graphic:

These Berkeley Repertory Theatre window graphics have earned their spot because of their bold graphics covering the full window.  Their use of bright colors and design create a vibrant display to capture the attention of people passing.

Boat Lettering:

This boat wins as the best not only because of the graphic but the story behind the project.  A very sweet couple came in and knew exactly what they wanted for their boat.  The wife’s name was Julie and when they first met, her husband would call her a hooligan.  So taking that memory and combining it with her name came Juligan.  They used a classic silver vinyl stacked onto blue to create this pristine look.

Best Raised Lettering:

J Couture is preparing to open on Webster and we had the opportunity to help them get on their feet.  These gold 3-dimensional letters that we provided helped pull this storefront together in preparation for their grand opening.  They completed the installation on their own and it came out great!

Best Tradeshow Display:

This is a new category we’ve added to our list and that’s because this display is so amazing.  From the back wall to the banner stands and the podium included, this display came together flawlessly with the design done by Barretto-Co.

Best Office Project:

This is another new category we’ve added as we’re growing and doing more projects in offices to get their visual branding on track.  This was done across 3 states and 9 locations for a San Ramon based company and their project included, coloring walls, conference window graphics, wall murals with acrylic plaques, and walls of praise for employees to have the opportunity to compliment one another on their work.
